You're only as young as your spine, and Pilates aligns your spine like a beautiful string of pearls. This is just one of the visualizations I use with students to help them understand what they're doing. So often, we work muscles you can't even see from the outside, but imagining them helps. We use our minds to help work our bodies. Pilates creates such a feeling of freedom and well-being! Everything is strong, stretched, and aligned. It's the complete workout. Add a little cardio and you're set for life! After teaching for more than 8 years, I find myself still learning along with my students. I love it. I advise students to shoot for 2-3 times a week and to be patient and persistent. The benefits will come...beautifully. (And you won't believe what Pilates does for your golf game!)
